So Much Stuff

1) As you can see that is me. Why am I posting a photo of myself on a bridge you ask? BECAUSE IT ME IN EUROPE. ON THE PONT DU GARD. P1010098

Look at it. It’s just so, so awesome. I may have fangirled. Okay so I totally flipped out but it’s the PONT DU GARD. *swoons* So much history. I have the best parents really. I’m so thankful that they allowed me to travel to Europe with my high school. It’s an experience I seriously won’t forget. No joke. I had to wi-fi half the time. Could you imagine 40 teenagers without wi-fi? I’ll just tell you this: there was a lot of singing on the bus. A LOT. My ears are still bleeding… Even though I had a lot of fun, I’m happy to be home. Of course I just had to get sick but oh well. Here’s some photos:

Onto my second update!

2) I have about 2 weeks and 14 days left of high school. Also about 3 days left of AP English. Once I’m done with that class I swear I’m going straight to Barnes and Nobles because I’ve seriously been book deprived and I blame that class. This will mean more updates and more reviews. It’s been crazy these few weeks because teachers have decided that NOW would be a good time teach us and give tests. I can’t wait till I graduate though.

And lastly:

3) I actually finished Dark Inside awhile ago and of course I forgot to make a review for it. I’ve got to become better at this. Is there a book to help bloggers? If so I need it. I shall post my review tomorrow. First, I must finish my homework.

I just wanted to say that I love each and every person that follows this blog. It means a lot to me that there are people out there who WANT to read my reviews. Thank you guys!

Answers: The Heart Kind

I know I stated in my last post why I haven’t been updating, but I feel like I should make a post too. Just to tell you guys (you amazing followers who actually read my terrible posts) why I sometimes disappear for months. See my sophomore of high school my body decided to have a major freak out. While playing gym one day my heart rate got up to 240. Since then I’ve been suffering a heart condition only doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong. Every time I went to another doctor I only found out more problems, not answers.

I’ve recently gone to a new doctor who is an arrhythmia specialist. Basically he understands what could cause the heart to get all funky better than say a regular cardiologist. One of the problems with having an arrhythmia is that it causes extreme fatigue. I fall asleep at 5:00 sometimes, leaving no time for reading or reviews. Add the fact that my heart medicine also makes you tired and I’m basically a Walker from The Walking Dead. I also found out the heart surgery I had done that came back as negative (which was this very strange study to test from an arrhythmia) isn’t always right. So basically like any scientific findings, sometimes things come back false when really it means positive. So I’ve been in this rut between anger and sadness.

I’ve been missing doing reviews so much and I’ve decided to not let this heart problem run my life. Yeah, maybe I will disappear for an extended period of time, but I’ll always come back. I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I promise to have two new reviews up on Alienated by Melissa Landers and Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge.

Secondly, I finished my college applications! Of course my parents made me do more even though I go accepted into the college I want to go to. *sigh* Oh well. But yes! Alas, I have finally finished all those stressful applications. That means more books and more reviews. Finally.

Allegiant by Veronica Roth

Today is the day Allegiant comes out. The book that started by obsession with the number 4, the word Dauntless, and just Theo James (please dear god those abs must be illegal somewhere). I first read Divergent my sophomore year of high school. For a month. Constantly. I actually had to make an agreement with my dad that I couldn’t speak about it anymore.

            That didn’t stop me.

I guess I wanted to say thank you to Veronica Roth even though she will never find this. Thank you for writing one of the best series in young adult, thank you for not using a love triangle. Veronica Roth is the reason why my need to be a writer became stronger. If you haven’t read Divergent, please do. These books make you think about life and how yeah, we’re faced with tragedy, but we can move on.

Unless Allegiant ends with major feels that will make me cry. Then there is no escaping tragedy. I love Divergent and I’m so happy to be able to meet Veronica Roth today. Fourtris will live on. It has to. Thanks for stopping by and reading this silly post.
